Connections: Which one of these is not like the others

In a similar vein to the Wordle thread, Connections is another NYT word/vocabulary game. You start with a 4x4 square of words, and have 4 chances to figure out the 4 groups 4 words that are connected. Does anyone else play?

I try to look for the purple one first, because the others have some trickery with extra/maybe answers in them. Got tired of Wordle a year ago because it seems impossible to lose a game. This fucker though .... my win rate after 100+ puzzles is only 91%.

Nice! Holy crap, have there really been 484 of these puzzles, or is that just some arbitrary number? I've only done 108. Only Wordle, Mini, & The Crossword have archived games in the NYT app. Hopefully these will show up someday.

I was okay with yesterday's last connection being leaves, but things "D" can stand for is a stretch. Apparently I have a habit of getting something almost right the first time.

Also not growing up with cable TV, the green one was not the easiest. I definitely needed the yellows to go away to see the connection.
