Current preferred sites for external port scanning?

I was wondering what sites people are using for external port scanning these days. Not a business use. Just to poke at an overhaul of my home network.

It’s been a while since I’ve had a need for external scanning and there seems to be a fair number sites offering that now days. Just curious as to what sites folks here may feel are capable and trustworthy. Well, as “trustworthy” as a publicly available web site can be.

And before anyone suggests plugging a laptop into my WAN port, I do have a linux laptop available but I’m too lazy to relearn nmap.

Shodan was always my goto, but that was years ago.
There was another... from a larger security group... which had options for items like Whois and MX verifications and stuff. I forget what that was, but it also ran port scans to a DNS or IP.
