Tower was just OK to me. I did get a solid Premium Heart roll (hmm OK, maybe for 2B?), and finally got some stats on Rods for Christine. Doesn't help that Rares on Rods/Staves/Whips are underwhelming because of the MP aspect. In that way best rolls are like Rare (20%MAG/20%MP) + HP 15% + HP 12%. Or even 15% HP, 12% HP, 10% HP.

I'm heading back into saving mode for a bit, nothing impending interests me. I know they talk up top damage dealers, but TBH I don't care if you ramp up to infinite damage at turn 10, hardly anything lasts that long. T1/T2 burst is way more useful to me.

...? That's a lot of easy lapis that I never realized existed.
The hardest part is finding the sites. Hell if I remember where Wolfsfang Peak is. We need a button to just to go the quest location.

Yeah, they pretty much go in order. My issue was going back and forth between the quest list and the world map. Ended up just opening the wiki on the PC and doing them in order to make sure I didn't miss any.
Well it's just all last missions, plus all three esper fights. I thought they were ending with maintenance, not Saturday so I got them done earlier this week. It's really nice boost to lapis that isn't pure grinding. It's much, MUCH better than a full world reset. Plus, more friendly for newbies. I think next reset will be on Dirnado and Kolobos Isles.

How did everyone's 10k summon go? Mine was ok I guess 5th LM Fina, 3rd Aurora Fry, 2nd/3rd Regina, 3rd/4th Summer Fid, 1st AK Rain, 1st Dressy Aileen, 3rd OK Refia, 3rd Reerta, 2nd Aloha Lasswell. Getting closer to some STMRs is never bad, probably happiest about the Aloha Lasswell, since it's a good TMR to have an extra copy of.
Yep, it was just the first two continents of the map. I initially thought they were scattered randomly all over Lapis. That would have been a pain. But it wasn't the case.
Alright, I think. I'm F2P and don't really grind much on it, just play when I have a few minutes to clear my brain. Just got the 11 rainbows. Got:

Awakened Warrior of Light and Crown Prince Noctis seem popular. Might use a UoC to get a 2nd or see if I could get a crystal of one or both of them to go 7*. And I still use AMoE chains a lot, so that 2nd Machina could be useful. No reason not to throw another chainer in the potential mix. Hopefully there's something else I've overlooked, as well. And getting closer to STMRs is never a bad thing.
I'm probably behind current on a lot of things. But I have a strong enough party that I haven't really pushed for much of anything. I don't seem to have a single glaring need for the stuff I've fought. I know I don't have the gear for top tier foes -- they simply overpower my party everywhere. But, for as little time as I've put in, I've just done the events, lately. Honestly, I don't know what I'd need most to get more current at this point. lol
Being Casual is really the way to play the game. Target units you like, but other than that don't stress out at getting every little thing. Rivera is kinda fun, but if you have great tanks she's kinda eh.
Noctis is also interesting. I have one, I tend to shy away from finishers so I've never bothered to UoC/Prism him.
LM Fina's 5th copy isn't all that bad, just because that ribbon on a headpiece. Getting closer to A. Fry's STMR is good, it's one of the only versatile Hybrid 2H weapons. Elena's cheap because her TMR is STMR level. The Fid STMR is nice, lots of stats, lots of resists.
The Aloha Lasswell is really nice, I've been wishing I had more of his TMR too. One is just not enough!

Nalu STMR is pretty underwhelming, not many people use spears, plus element lock. Yuraisha's STMR looks pretty crazy for tanks though. 30% HP on a head piece, plus 95 SPR? Very solid. Beowulf's is meh, some hybrid might use it.

Not sure if it's on purpose or a bug, but the free commemorative 3*10+1 is working again. Go get your 30 blues + 3 golds right this minute. (I got 4th dk luneth and 5th hyoh).
It worked for me, I ended up with a CG Lightning and something else off of it. I also grabbed the Spring Bundles, ended up with Aiden and Zyrus, which means I have one of all the Black Friday units. Neat.
Tifa seems to be well received. Since I have her and her STMR, I'll awaken her. Kinda waiting for FFBEEquip to fill out her info though, her new skills aren't allowed to be optimized for, so it's likely missing something for optimal builds.

PSA Gumi released a omniprism + 2x 5*ex + 2x premium tickets for 10k lapis bundle. Obviously the key item is the prism which allows you to 7* any unit including limited units. Should make pulling on those limited units a little less painful. On a side note, one of the 5* tickets gave me 3rd A. Locke, so 1 step away from that really sweet evade STMR. Nothing but golds from the premium tickets.
I got the omniprism. It's good for Collab units, for sure. Not sure whether I'll grab the other one or not. I've thrown some tickets at the collab, had terrible luck except for a ton of Rizas... so many Rizas.
Anyone else pick up FFBE: War of the Visions? I did, been having a lot of fun with it. I'm sticking F2P, we'll see if it's playable that way. If there's enough interest we could maybe make a separate thread.

How did everyone do with Dark Visions? I think I ended slightly over 4k unless there were any major last minute shifts. Seems like Mages and Finishers are now important, instead of just a luxury. Found myself using lots of moogles, cactuars, pots, crysts to cobble together a bunch of random teams. Also got lucky with a Draco Fina on a random 5* ticket, and able to 7* her with an additional 2 4* tickets
Seems like next go around I may need to finally dip into my UoC stash. D Aiden, Regis, and Cid would be the most likely candidates since I have one of each. Really wish the event was 2 weeks. Way too time consuming configuring all of the teams, especially without any kind of team reload feature. Although overall I thought the event was fun, the lack of this feature + only 1 weeks made this feel a lot more like work.

I... didn't realize DV was only a week. I'm just now picking off the last of the world revisit stuff. Part of the reason is because it is so time consuming, and building teams and dealing with chaining sounds like way too much of a pain for what, two UoCs? Throw it on top of my other Mobile games(WOTV), and it's hard to want to put in the "work".
FFBEEquip is definitely amazing for killers and elemental stuff. Keeping those constraints in mind and doing the work it does takes way more knowledge of items, and there are so many more obscure X% resist items out there.

Yeah, I can definitely understand that. It's one of the reasons why I never started WOTV in the first place. No way I'd be able to play both at the same time. I waste enough time with FFBE as it is. One week for DV is definitely not enough, I started kinda late as it was, and was definitely scrambling the last couple of days to finish everything.

I will say it at least will breathe new life into the game. Currently the only real power upgrades for veterans is pulling a new unit. You're not worried about whether you have enough Cactuars, Pots, Door Pots, and Crysts to get the units to where they need to be strong. I'd think of the Neo Vision units as units that have a new type of upgrade paths outside of the current ones, meaning you can't just throw stockpiled resources at them. I personally find it a bit refreshing, which is why WOTV is also fun for me. There's a goal to get to in terms of power. Sure down the road in a year getting units to max level and max power will be far easier, but that's the nature of games that have new players coming in and need catch up mechanics.
Biggest thing is the return of the lower 1% rates. Getting too far away from that whalebait is definitely something Gumi missed, and is going back to. I personally love the Vision cards (artwork-wise) from WOTV and I'm glad that they're bringing them over, because the sprite artwork for them that I've seen so far is Quality. The 2D sprites in 3D is fantastic.
I still feel like the game is fun to play as a casual, I don't see myself ever quitting unless there's no new content or certain mechanics become downright offensive (Pay to Play only).

Yep, collab banner definitely a surprise, will be interesting to see what they do for next week. A bit odd that they only added enhancements for 1 unit per banner, so not sure if they'll draw this out and slowly add in all of the enhancements over the coming weeks, or what. Maybe it's their stalling tactic due to covid related delays.

I just can't think of anything coming up that should be that hyped. Raegen was the biggest one that I knew was coming up.
Don't we typically get more resources then spend during Anniversaries? Plus, in the past they haven't been big hitters for spending, at least it's felt like. Just rehashed skins of existing characters.

The Anniversary is expected to debut the next round of Fan created characters. So, if you ever wanted Behemoth as your tank...
People are also waiting for tomorrow to see if there's a second wave of enhancements for the characters that were skipped over.
Fyi, for those who plan to get serious about DV, the current Ace/Rem banner is a great one to pull on for the magic DPS. They can basically do the same thing as XWQL, so makes things much easier. Came out with a reasonably good result on the 25k step up with 2 Rems + trash. Used the ticket on Ace and UOC'd his prism, so should be pretty set for the next DV. Just missing that illusive MMXon at this point, but no way I'm shelling out ~$25 for one.
With the new NV system on JP side, the assumption is that UOCs are becoming less valuable so it's time for me to start using them. Used my first after getting PCecil on the 11 rainbow pull.

Given that one of the ways to get the NV version of a unit is to obtain it's Super TMR, I'm not sure the value of UOC's drops that much.
I would say it's a diluted a bit. Nowadays 8 UoCs get you a prism which will allow you to 7* a character, which in most cases is enough to get them to relatively full capability. In the NV world, that means you'd have to pull 2 first, and then use 16 UoC to get them to NV. So while they're still valuable, not quite as useful as they are currently. Of course this is assuming the content actually requires NV level units.

It's an adaptation of FFBE. There's been a lot of desire for an offline FFBE, so hopefully they knock this one out of the park. I'm at least glad they decided to do some project with the solid framework and assets they have from FFBE.
Looking back it's incredible this thread made it 54 pages. I quit around Neo Visions. Fun times, I enjoyed playing the game as a full F2P player.

When I clicked in, I thought for sure a spammer had necroed it, but thanks for the news. In the end, I didn't like FF:BE as much as I liked Record Keeper and Dissidia Opera Omnia but I did like it and it was way better than Mobius. Just wishlisted and looking forward to it.
