How to delete the Windows update files

On Windows 10, I had Windows Update disabled through winaero tweaker. I enabled it since I needed to access the Microsoft store. Apparently Windows downloaded the Windows 11 Upgrade. When going to shutdown options it shows "Update and shut down" which I did not click. I disabled WU but I'm still worried it will automatically install Windows 11 if I enable it again. Anyway I just want to delete the update files and the solutions I tried on google did not work.

It's pretty simple

Pretty much:
1) Stop the windows update service if running
2) delete everything in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\

Or if you like to do this by CLI

net stop wuauserv
net stop bits
cd %windir%\SoftwareDistribution
del /f /s /q *.*
