So, had to replace the MB and CPU of a build and it had a pair of drives set in Windows using software RAID built into windows to make them a stripe.

However, although the system booted to Windows on the main disk, this pair shows up individually in Disk Manager but with each showing as invalid.

The data is mostly backed up but for some latest scratch work but I'd like to try repairing it as I thought that software RAID would be transferable?

However, searching nearly only turns up hardware RAID and this was setup in Windows using Disk Management originally.

Anything useful there? Option 2... I wish it was more specific about your particular situation tho.

Again not your specific situation, but some things to do there about adding to mirror earlier in the video, and a later bit in the video about a new Windows installation. However in his example at the end they show up as Mirrored Vol, as opposed to "invalid"...?
