Thought I had picked my league starter. Leveling by SRS, maybe the updated absolution, then into a animated weapon build based on the Chains of Command unique.
But this build has my interest. I like totem builds and often use Holy Flame Totem (HFT) for leveling but usually drop it in Act 3. Never thought about making HFT the main skill of a build. This is a really well thought out build and I am tempted to give this a try as it will probably be easier/cheaper to get up and running than the Chains of Command build.

Managed to catch it early for a change, 2580 queue position. Not that it will change much, gonna do my usual slow campaign plod.
Fuck it, mana hierophant it is. Gonna try the new shock nova thingy because it looks sick, and if it sucks I'll just transition into something else.
Also holy, 55k people in queue. I don't expect it to take long, but that's probably the biggest queue I've seen in PoE1, guessing lots of people are hyped for this.

I'm at 23466 - I experimented a bit with the shield crush slayer, and decided I didn't like it. Giving Boneshatter Jugg a shot instead.

Yeah, it's some MTX causing it, basically stay away from town as much as you can.
Just an FYI for anyone who hasn't started the league yet, they've added an exit in the underground passage that takes you back to the submerged passage right next to the exit to the ledge.

I have so many augs and chance orbs. They were not kidding when they said currency drops were increased. And I didn't like the new Templar starter skill. I went back to rolling magma, if that tells you how bad I found it. I died to rhoas 4 or 5 times in the mud flats.
EU has been wobbly. 2 zone crashes with logouts and a subsequent queue so far.
Yeah, servers are on fire big time.

Missed that passage and will have to look for it next time. Only new secret I found so far is in Belly of the Beast level 2. Found a side area that had a solo Beast Heart that when killed dropped a Vaal Cyclone gem.
Currency drops have been strange. No idea if I have been lucky for they are adjusting drops rate server side, but had 1 Chaos drop in Act 1, 4 in Act 2, 0 in Act 3, 1 in Act 4.
Servers aren't doing too well this launch. Not disastrous, but not great either. I dare say this is probably the worst league launch in quite a while.

n of one, but so far the only problems I’ve had were with that crash because of the cosmetic. That being said, there are people in chat complaining about rollbacks quite a bit. Reddit thinks there’s an EU server issue.
Managed to hit act 6 this morning. Pretty smooth going so far…
Yeah EU servers have apparently been shit for a lot of people for years now. I've never had those issues myself, especially since the Stockholm realm opened I've had stable single digit latency, but in the late afternoon today it's been basically unplayable. I ran through most of the Temple of decay 4-5 times before just giving up.
I saw people complaining about Asian servers as well, so something certainly seems off.
I guess I have missed something... you trade in level 20 gems for the coins that corrupt a skill with a level 1 support?
More like, people are gonna brick a lot of 20/20 gems by getting shitty supports infused to them.
Also, servers are alive again so I managed to do cruel lab. Let's see if this holds, I bought a bunch of beer specifically for this weekend so I'm certainly hoping so.
Also also, the bug that crashed to desktop when arc'ing a breach wall is really annoying...
One thought - blocking unwanted content is important as mirages appear near other content. To increase its usefulness you need to block the chance of it appearing near stuff you don’t care about.

I played 9 hours from launch. I finished all skill points / 3 ascend / a10 at 5:21 or something, one of my best times in an actual league start, then ground up to level 85. Got a few good drops, geared up, 6 link, flasks crafted, most gear pieces upgraded at least once.
Today I ground to 90 and now I'm going to rogcraft for a few days while stockpiling scarabs for my secret next plan.

I am firmly in act 4, almost done with it. In act 4 I have had 2 EX drop and I have something like 15 chaos.
Everything is going to be "expensive" with so much currency being dropped on the market.
Edit: Also, If I don't see a skill gem on Siosa in the Library after finishing the quest that would make it available to other classes, that means I need to wait for Lily in Act 6 to get it?

I have been doing the league mechanic a fair bit so I am really over leveled. So much so I don't know that I will have to respec much when I go Kinetic Fisulliad.
besides the currency, essences' have been very plentiful, outside of even getting to do them twice!
And the servers are shitting the bed again. I really hope they make a post mortem post about this once they sort it out, I'm really curious if there are just a lot more players than expected, or if there's something about the new stuff that loads the servers harder than before. I'm also curious why they seem to have such a hard time scaling...

Hit endgame, bought a cheap 6l, and swapped to Boneshatter of Complex Trauma. Ran one map and did a delve run - seems pretty good so far.
I did my best to ignore mirage as much as possible, never went inside before maps, and still, those monsters are there, adding density and getting in your face, so you have to kill them to just to get through the zone. I ended up at like level 66 or so at maps despite doing my best to stay on target.Pretty fucking good. Since it sounds like there is a surplus of the gem corrupters and not gems, I’m wondering if there is a money opportunity, either in running labs for desirable transfigured gems, or in buying and leveling desirable gems to 20.

There’s definitely money in leveling up gems.
I have 5 kinetic fusillades and 3 shield charges about to turn over to 20. Don’t forget you can level 6 gems in your second weapon set. (9 if you use maloney’s mechanism)
